Xucker Basic is the heart of the Xucker universe

Xucker Basic consists of 100 per cent xylitol, our all-rounder, which gives a large proportion of our products their sweetness. Caries bacteria do not like Xucker Basic
Dental caries occurs when teeth are attacked by acid produced by bacteria. The bacteria, a special type of streptococcus, produce the acid when metabolizing carbohydrates such as sugar or starch. Already a few minutes after eating, the maximum is reached. The bacteria need an acidic environment (pH 4 - 5.5) to attach themselves to the teeth. Only there can they develop their full damaging effect. Periodontitis develops when bacteria accumulate at the necks of the teeth and form a so-called plaque. In the process, they secrete substances that lead to inflammation of the gums (gingivitis). In advanced stages, periodontitis leads to the breakdown of gums and bone. Eating foods that contain xylitol instead of sugar helps to maintain tooth mineralisation. Xucker Basic consists exclusively of xylitol and is therefore no joy for caries-causing bacteria.
